In the cover shot her hips are back and her arms are in front which also make her look slimmer from the waist down. Compare the shots. As for the response from Glamour, it sounded fine to me. I don't know how many ways you would need it put. In regards to your intelligence being insulted, I hardly think that calling people idiots entitles one to much of an intelligent response anyway.
