Gimme More strength to get through this performance without losing my dignity or my extensions.
Gimme More armpit deodorant because I haven’t washed in a while and one of my backup dancers has collapsed to the ground, one is gagging to death behind me while another one is furiously trying to waft the odour away.
Gimme More wigs and some glue, I’ll just paste them on top of this one and hope my head doesn’t topple off from the weight of them all.
Gimme More liftoff so I can propel skywards and land on the moon where they can’t serve me any more annoying court papers.
Gimme More of those drinks because what the hell I already can’t even stand on my own feet and the guy propping me up is moving me around so it looks like I’m kind of dancing.

The Annalucia did not see this show but judging from the photos – could it be that they were trying to recreate the style and the electricity of Catherine Zeta-Jones in “Chicago,” during the performance of “All that Jazz”?
