If you’re yearning to spend some time with Tom Cruise in all his 9-foot glory (yes triple the usual size!) get down to the Acuna-Hansen Gallery in LA :
A nine-foot tall portrait of TOM CRUISE is the main attraction in a new exhibition featuring 31 paintings and drawings of the movie star. Artist Mark Stockton has created a series of Cruise masterpieces for his show, 1983, at the Acuna-Hansen Gallery in Los Angeles. The actor didn’t sit for Stockton – the artist created his new pieces from stills and publicity shots from Cruise’s first five major movie roles in The Outsiders, Losin’ It, Risky Business,Taps and All The Right Moves.
You can also view the artwork at Mark Stockton’s website and reminisce about the days of old, before Tom became all-powerful and all-knowing and loudly declarative in his all-loving of the women. After the exhibition, the entire collection will be mounted in Katie’s sleeping chambers as homage to what adorned her bedroom walls as a teen and as a salutary reminder to be careful what you wish for.

So true, so true. I was just thinking today (I don’t know why I was thinking this – I was in the shower shaving my legs and got bored, I guess.) about how creepy it was that she said the she had posters up of him and is now married to him.
Eeeeeewwww!
Anyway, they’ll match the DVD collection of his movies he gave her.
