By Spirit FingersAmong its more notable episodes, The Tyra Banks Show has featured Tyra disguised as a 350 pound woman, a panty party, and women in flesh coloured body stockings. People probably think that Tyra comes up with all these ideas for her talk show by herself.
But I suspect she must have svengali extraordinaire Christopher Walken by her side whispering stuff like “That body image stuff is great, but….I could have used a little more vagina”, thereby resulting in this Very Special Episode:
In what is likely a first for television, Tyra Banks on Monday will devote her entire hour-long talk show to discussing … the vagina.
Banks gives her audience an anatomy quiz, welcomes two gynecologists to the show, and shows a segment in which she takes a 28-year-old Plano, Texas, woman to her very first gynecological appointment – all in an effort to educate women about what can be an uncomfortable topic.
While Tyra will no doubt go down in the annals of sisterhood for this bold move, you also have to admire her for the fearless way she has gone about promoting Monday’s episode.
