She made no fuss about it, and I don't recall that she sought or got any press for it. She just did it (I know because a friend of mine used to volunteer with her) and I always admired her for that. Many years later, I wonder if she still finds time for that kind of thing. I would hope so, but it appears that much of her time these days is taken up with finding the most hideous furs possible.
