Why, at these functions, do the young ladies always pose in front of what appears to be the slab of drywall with dreary advertising slogans imprinted thereon? It has all the charm of the shelving aisle at Home Depot. Can they not at least rig up a blue velvet curtain, or something less offensive to the eye?
