By Spirit FingersWith Father’s Day having come and gone, we take a moment to reflect on some well-known paternal figures of TV land. This week your task is to identify the tv characters below, bearing in mind they are all dads on sitcoms and other tv comedies, past and present.
Answers will be put up on Wednesday morning. In the meantime I will be slumped on the couch, dispensing life lessons to the youngsters with a dose of crotchety humour thrown in.

I’m going to agree with dr nic on everything except 4 - I think that’s Robert Reed from the Brady Bunch. For #2, I’m going to guess Belushi from according to Jim. #8 looks like Dick Van Dyke. I seem to remember he had a sitcom in the 70s with Hope Lange that took place in Arizona. I don’t remember the name - maybe the Dick Van Dyke Show? For #9, I’ll guess Dan Lauria from the Wonder Years.

I do believe that #2 is Red from That 70s Show. I think Miss Dove is right about Robert Reed as #4. #8 & 9 are stumping me. Dr. Nic seemed to get the others right.
