Raincoaster, you know I love you, and a lot of this addresses the original post, not the link, but:
1. The song “Beer for my Horses” also features Willie Nelson. Just for the record.
2. Oklahoma wasn’t even a state until 1907, waaaay after the Confederacy was history.
3. Who was it who called Obama “the first mainstream African-American candidate… articulate and bright and clean”? Oh, right. Joe Biden. From Delaware. Also not the south.
4. Glenn Beck is kind of a tool. (Okay, not really relevant.)
I know people love to hate Toby Keith, but honestly… I get annoyed when people assume that southerners are just genetically inclined to racism. (Okay, I’m biased. I find the song “I Wanna Talk about Me” kind of hilarious.)

So you’re FOR the Union then?

Sure, why not? Seems to be working so far…
