This is nothing new….in the 70’s YSL did a super low cut back. At least Diane has a nice back, although this look works much better in a full length gown instead of a cocktail dress.

It’s not new; it’s just badly-made. The fabric is so stiff it stands out, and it is about a half-inch too low. YSL’s were lower, but they were drapey fabric and the crack was the point, not a sort of “does she know it looks like that?” halfway uncertain situation.
I discovered on Gawker today that the dimples are called “the Dimples of Venus”, which is an awesome name!

It looks like someone made it out of black lacquered astro-turf and not in a good way.
