Blooming Heck, Helena Bonham Carter!

In any case, I’m relatively sure this is the first time Malibu Beach has seen the combination of petticoats, mob caps, and platform flip-flops.

Actually, in her world this is a relatively tame outfit. Except for the platform flops – how does one walk in those?

Carol’s right, that’s a tame outfit for Helena Bonham Carter. Her little girl is so adorable though. I wonder if she was in a dancing pageant, with the shoes and the face paint. Or maybe it was just dress up. Or maybe that’s normal for the Burton-Bonham Carter household, considering who they are.

It’s normal for them, trust me. What puzzled me about this series of pix is, I couldn’t decide whether Helena is wearing bloomers or a petticoat. After looking at the pictures for a good half hour, I still can’t decide, but I DO know she should have tried harder with the shoes, pedicure or no pedicure. Either go with the “suburban slob at Walmart” look or go with the “crazy Victorian time traveller” look.
