Ayyyy! Puzzle corner

This week’s challenge takes a decidedly personal twist with the theme of “Spirit Fingers’ Vacation Wishlist”.  Your task is to investigate the pictures below (click for a larger version) and not only identify the movie in question but also the place I would most like to visit.

Answers will be put up on Wednesday morning.  In the meantime I will be coping with post-holiday depression by planning imaginary itineraries in my head.

    #1 is Blue Hawaii (obviously Hawaii)
    #2 is Mr. Bean Takes a Vacay (French Riviera)
    #3 looks like Santorini. Mama Mia? No clue on the movie. (And if you think you’re going there without me, you’ve got another smoke coming, missy. You have to take us all!)
    # atari hit that one
    #5 is Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (Venice)
    #6 looks a bit like one of the Bourne movies but it’s not
    #7 looks like a bit from The Man Who Knew Too Much, which is meant to be set in Morocco

    No clue on #8 or #9 although #9 is driving me crazy.

    #3 is Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (the first) and she’s in Santorini Greece.
    #8 looks like Napa Valley – but I don’t know the movie.
