Jennifer Hudson talks about the on-set wardrobe for the Sex and the City movie:

“It’s amazing!” yelps Jennifer. “The first day I went to my fitting, and I was like, ‘Wow, you picked that for me?’”

Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there onwards.

    Is that a SWEATER DRESS? I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. Can’t we leave those in the 1980s??

    You’re completely right, K* – if SJP was dolled up in a kindergarten teacher’s ‘art class’ sweater dress, layered over a button up (with black piping detail, giving the ‘graphite pencil run amok in the washing machine’ look), she’d work it so much better. It’s totally the body shape at blame here.
