    all American’s aren’t some Disney, Forth of July, beer, Brtiney Spears, Warmonger or dirty hippy, and a Big Mac cliche’

    and hate the all crap!

    Avril herself says she isn’t punk. I’ve read more than one interview where she says that she’s more rock/pop than punk. I think that was just a label foisted upon her by an ignorant media, and it stuck.

    I agree with you “La Petite Acadienne” Avril has consistently denied being punk, but the media continue to label her that, and sadly many idiots in the public believe them.

    It is funny because no one that claims that Avril said she is punk can produce any reliable evidence that Avril has ever claimed to be punk, go ahead and try and prove me wrong, I dare you, I have asked this question for years of people claim that she is, but the only evidence I have every seen is Avril denying that she is punk, the only video or audio evidence I have ever seen is of Avril denying that she is punk in interviews and videos, etc.

    I’m thinking Avril wore it better. In my humble opinion, the only time and place a woman in her 30′s should wear a mini-kilt and kneesocks is in the boudoir while playing “naughty schoolgirl” with some handsome fellow.
