Buddhism makes for a great diversion from hardcore drugs but it can only do so much if your mind has been bent further than Uri Geller’s spoon:

Courtney Love has found peace from her addictions in Buddhism, Contactmusic.com reports. The 43-year-old former drug addict and grunge queen says the religion’s chanting and meditation practices help allay the stress she’s suffered since kicking narcotics. However, she admits that even the Eastern religion can’t keep her from hallucinating. “Occasionally, a negative thought sneaks though. I try to focus on gratitude when I chant because it kills anxiety and depression,” she explains. “But lately I’ve been getting weird visions of Vince Vaughn running around naked in an executioner’s mask.”
